DJ Ötzi was born on January 7, 1971 in St. Johann, Austria. He is a music artist and actor, known for Kangaroo Jack (2003), Wasp (2003) and Football's 47 Best Worst Songs (2018). He has been married to Sonja Friedle since August 8, 2001. They have one child.

Austrian singer and DJ, who has sold over 9 million records in the German speaking regions with trash hits such as "Anton aus Tirol" (1999), "Hey Baby" (2000) or "Burger Dance (2003).

His party hit "Hey Baby", a cover of Bruce Channel's 1962 song, reached #1 in the UK Singles Charts (2001).

After being raised by foster parents and his grandmother, he was trained to be a cook. After his apprenticeship, he voluntarily lived in the streets of Innsbruck for some years.

His wife Sonja gave birth to their daughter Lisa-Marie, named after Lisa Marie Presley, on 17 September 2002.
