Ken'ichi Fujiwara(I)

Kenichi Fujiwara is a prolific Japanese film director, screenwriter, and producer primarily known for his extensive work in the V-Cinema (direct-to-video) market and cult genre films. Based in Japan, he has built a reputation as a specialist in high-intensity action, yakuza dramas, and "splatter" horror films, often delivering stylized violence on modest budgets.

Fujiwara first gained significant critical attention with his 2004 feature film, Is A., a dark thriller that explored the complexities of Japan’s juvenile justice laws. The film was well-received on the international festival circuit, marking him as a director capable of blending social commentary with gritty genre tropes.
