Chad Minier is an actor, film producer, radio station music director, radio station disc jockey, author, film promoter, mental health and unseen disabilities advocate, autism awareness advocate, anti-child abuse advocate, talent promoter, composer, arranger, artist, professional musician, freelance writer, licensed music educator, endorsed learning behavior specialist, film journalist, and film critic. He is the founder of the Independent Horror Planetarium in which he serves as an indie horror film critic, journalist and promoter. He is well-known for his reviews of independent horror films. Minier founded the film production company Independent Horror Productions that has produced a number of films. He is active in film promotion for independent filmmakers with his Independent Horror Planetarium. Chad also offers promotional services for independent actors and actresses. He has acted in the films Dad’s Day (2002), Follow Me Home (2026), Shotgun Hooker (2026), Hacksaw Slumber Party (2026), and Percocet Pigeon (2027). Minier has produced many independent horror films. He is a professional musician that has performed in many various musical groups, recorded on over 15 albums, and has toured the country professionally. Minier has also contributed to film soundtracks. Chad Minier refers to when he views two films for review at 4:00 am every morning as his "horror therapy". He watches two films every morning and posts two reviews every day of the year for the Independent Horror Planetarium that he founded.

Chad Minier has been a horror fanatic since grade school. Chad started collecting Fangoria Magazines at the age of 8 years old. His collection contains almost every issue from the year 1979 to 1988.

Chad Minier is a a certified licensed Instrumental Music Educator and has a Learning Behavior Specialist Endorsement specializing in students with Autism.

Chad Minier is the author of the novel 'Weird Eyes" (2024) that is unpublished. The book deals with how he overcame a horrific and traumatic childhood using escapes such as horror movies, Fangoria magazines, music, and art. The book reflects his clever sense of humor and includes many Easter eggs and references to many classic horror movies.
