Karl Armster was born on December 4, 1883 in Krefeld, Germany. He was an actor, known for Das Medium (1921), Jenseits des Stromes (1922) and Fasching (1921). He died on July 4, 1943 in Hebron-Damnitz, Poland.

Karl Armster concentrated to the theater primarily and he only appeared rarely in movies.

Armster was one of the most popular operatic baritones up to the Second World War and excelled in verismo roles from Scarpia to Marcello.
