Biography

Vahe Mikayelyan is an Armenian film director and screenwriter working across documentary and fiction cinema.

After completing two years of military service, Vahe went through a period of deep personal reflection that led him to pursue cinema as a way to explore human experiences.

Vahe graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and and the Moscow Film School.

He is interested in contemporary cinema that combines psychological depth, social themes and a strong visual language.
