Miriam Simsensohn

Miriam Șimșensohn is a Romanian actress. She made her feature film debut as Leti in "Comoara lui Harap-Alb", directed by Igor Cobileanski. She began performing at the age of nine and has since appeared in several musical theatre productions at the Opera Comică pentru Copii in Bucharest. She first portrayed Lavender in "Matilda the Musical" before being cast in the title role in the 2026 revival, both directed by Emil Pantelimon. Her stage credits also include Summer Hathaway in "School of Rock" (directed by Emil Pantelimon), Marta in "The Sound of Music" (directed by Răzvan Mazilu), "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (directed by Emil Pantelimon), and "A Christmas Story" (directed by Cristian Mihăilescu). She also appeared in the short film "Nunta lui Decebal", directed by Matei Lucaci-Grunberg. She studies acting, singing and musical theatre while continuing her academic education.
