Valentina Garza is an award winning screenwriter and television producer, known for her work on beloved animated and live-action television series including The Simpsons, Jane the Virgin, and Wednesday.
Valentina began her television career as a writer's assistant on Los Beltran, A Spanish-language sitcom that aired on Telemundo and where she wrote her first episode of television. She then joined the Warner Bros. Television Group writer's workshop and submitted a speculative script that earned her a writing position on The Simpsons. There she wrote multiple episodes over six season with the first being "Four Great Women and a Manicure" which earned her an Annie Awards nomination.
She later joined the writing staff of Jane the Virgin for the C.W. where she earned the Sentinal Award for her episodes "Chapter Seventy-Eight" and "Chapter Eighty".
She most recently served as executive producer and show-runner for the Netflix teen romance series XO Kitty which she joined after completing Season 2 of Wednesday, also on Netflix, as writer and co-executive producer.
Valentina resides in Los Angeles, CA.
