Born in France and raised in Málaga, Spain, Élise Tandé is a filmmaker whose work blends sharp social observation with emotional depth. After training in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Málaga, she built her craft as an art director before stepping into producing and directing her own projects.
Her short film Covidian Dream earned international recognition at festivals including Toronto, Cannes, and Chicago. She then directed Esperanza, a 16 minute documentary produced for local television, before making her full debut as writer, director, producer, and editor with Ghosting Among Ghosts, a fiction short that premiered at the prestigious 29th Festival de Málaga. The film has since won three awards at international independent film festivals, including Best Short Film for Social Impact, Best Short Script, and Best Original Music, and is progressively gaining recognition on the international festival circuit.
