Michael Antonakos is a American-Greek actor, director, writer, and acting coach with over 25 years of professional experience across film, television, theatre, and interactive media. Born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Canada from the age of three, Michael began performing in his youth with the Rocky Mountain Shakespeare Company, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in storytelling.
After studying theatre at the University of Victoria, he moved to Vancouver and Toronto to pursue on-camera work, quickly establishing himself as a versatile performer across genres. Trained in classical and contemporary techniques (Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen), and a graduate of the Citadel Theatre Program at the Banff Centre, Michael brings a deeply disciplined and intuitive approach to both performances, writing and directing.
A multi-hyphenate storyteller whose career spans over two decades across film, television, theatre, and AAA video games.
Internationally recognized for his performance as Alexios / Deimos in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Bruce Wayne / Batman in Gotham Knights, Michael has built a reputation for delivering powerful, emotionally grounded performances across mediums.
With a rare combination of leading-man presence, technical performance capture expertise, and a creator’s vision, Michael Antonakos continues to develop and lead projects that bridge commercial appeal with meaningful storytelling.
When not on set or in the studio, Michael dedicates his time to his family and to mentoring the next generation of performers with a focus on truth and presence of the craft, as well as helping them developing new creative projects.
