Biography

Harry Gregg was born on October 25, 1932 in Tobermore, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, UK. He was married to Carolyn Maunders and Mavis Markham. He died on February 16, 2020 in Northern Ireland, UK.

He was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) before being awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2019 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to Football. He lived in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Football goalkeeper who played for Manchester United and Northern Ireland.

One of the survivors of the 1958 Munich air disaster, in which British European Airways Flight 609 crashed upon takeoff. Twenty-three people died, including eight of his Manchester United teammates.
