Alejandra Borja studied photography and screen-printing in Columbia,
and graphic design and film direction in Spain. Her short films have
been shown in international festivals all over the world.
In 2006 she founded the inter-cultural arts initiative, INTRANSITos - traficantes de culture, with Jana Taube in Berlin. INTRANSITos conceives and organizes exhibitions, wokshops, festivals and art projects. A central theme of INTRANSITos' artistic pursuits is an examination of the effects of migration on the individual and society more broadly.
