- Performed at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre in such productions as Theatrical Essays, Cherry Orchard, and Men of Tortuga. Ben has also worked with Chicago Shakespeare, the Griffin Theater, and the Viaduct Theater, among others.
- Attended Ohio's prestigious Kenyon College, where he received the 1998 Paul Newman Trophy for his senior-thesis production of Eric Bogosian's one-man show: Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll. Also, 3 time winner of the Jame E. Michael Playwriting Prize.
- Son of Air Force General Henry Viccellio Jr. (ret.), who commanded the Air Force Materiel Command headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
- His play, House of Judgement, was nominated for an LA Valley Theatre Award for Best Author of an Original Drama.
- Wrote the screenplay Men in Trouble (adapted from the novel by Sarah Payne Stewart)
