Ahmed Al-Madhoun

Ahmed Al-Madhoun was a Palestinian paramedic killed while trying to reach Hind Rajab, the five year old girl trapped in a car after her family was killed. He and fellow medic Youssef Zaino drove into a heavily targeted area to rescue her; their ambulance was later found destroyed, both men killed before they could reach the child. Ahmed is remembered for his courage and his commitment to saving lives even in the most dangerous conditions.
