Lennon Vossen
- Actor
American actor Lennon Vossen was born in Palm Springs, California, the second of two children. He has one older brother. At a young age, Lennon and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was raised and eventually attended Nex+Gen Academy. He was introduced to live theatre at age five, and at age 12 his music teacher encouraged him to try background acting. It was on the set of 'The Goldfinch' (a 2019 crime/drama based on the 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel) that Lennon began his acting career as a featured extra. The set of 'The Goldfinch' was also where he discovered his passion for acting after being given compliments on his work ethic and realism, even as a beginning background actor.
After acting as a featured extra in several television shows and films, Lennon decided to step away from background acting and begin working towards speaking roles. At age 18, he began studying theatre at the University of New Mexico (UNM) where he was encouraged to be the soundboard operator for a local production, which eventually led to his return as a theatre actor. He went on to play roles such as Moritz Stiefel in 'Spring Awakening', Jason McConnell in 'Bare: A Pop Opera', and Private Fector in the musical adaptation of 'Dogfight'. Lennon's performance as Jason McConnell in 'Bare: A Pop Opera' earned him a New Mexico Entertainment Awards nomination for 'Top Actor in a Musical'.
Lennon continues to pursue new projects that stretch his abilities and excite his creativity as an actor, being seen in multiple short films including '1700 Yards' and the upcoming sci-fi 'Every Type of Orange' directed by Simon Ceruzzi.
