Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Aoi Sora (real name: Suzuki Miho) was born in Kanagawa Japan in 1980. She is a popular actress, porn star, writer and singer. Her popularity transcends her homeland and extends to Canada, the U.S., and East Asia more broadly with many following her in China. She was scouted in Shibuya, Tokyo while in her third year at high school leading to a gravure modelling career. She would graduate to pornography, but would later state that she never meant to do it exclusively and always wanted to do non-pornographic acting eventually. Nonetheless, in short order she won Second Place Award as Best New Actress in the 2002 X City Grand Prix Awards and Best Actress Award at the 2004 Pink Grand Prix gala. In that year she also began picking up mainstream roles. It was reported that she was dating comedy manga artist Jiro Hachimitsu. In an interview however, she stated that her decision is to not have a boyfriend while in the pornography industry. She released a music single in 2010. She announced on New Year's day 2018 that she had married a Japanese man named DJ Non the month before. She revealed in 2020 that she hails from Kanagawa rather than Tokyo, and was born in in 1980 and not 1983 as she had claimed for years. Her alias Aoi Sora ('blue sky') was chosen when she described her favourite colour and likes and combing the two.
