- Thees Uhlmann was born on April 16, 1974 in Hemmoor, Lower Saxony, Germany. He is an actor and composer, known for Sophia, Death and Me (2023), Bliss (2012) and Keine Lieder über Liebe (2005).
- Co-founder, singer, guitarist and songwriter of band Tomte.
- Co-founder and co-owner of music label Grand Hotel van Cleef (named after actor 'Lee van Cleef'.
- Started studying English and Politics at the University of Cologne, Germany, to become a teacher. After two years he switched to the University of Hamburg, Germany, to finish his studies, and ultimately abandoned his studies in 2000 to fully concentrate on his music with band Tomte.
- Took part in the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2011 with his song "Zum Laichen und Sterben ziehen die Lachse den Fluss hinauf" for Hamurg.
