Madan Krishna Shrestha is one of the most famous and respected Nepalese television actor and comedian in the Nepalese entertainment industry. Born on April of 1950, he has been working in Nepalese entertainment industry for a very long time achieving highest fame and recognization among the Nepali people. He received his primary education from the Montessori school, J.P. school and Padmadev School. He passed SLC (a final examination in secondary level of Nepal) from Shanti Nikunja School and then he did his I.Com. at Mahendra Ratna Public College and attempted a B.A. at a private institute. Since he was very much involved in the field of art, he could not make it through his graduation.
Madan Krishna Shrerstha is well known for his acting skills on both TV series and TV movies with genre as a comedian. He has played dozens and dozens of movies and TV series attaining hits on all of them which has ranked him as the best actor in Nepali cinema. He became noted by Nepalese viewers and critics after his performance in Rastriya Gaijatra Mahotsav in 2032 BS. Before meeting Hari Bansha Acharya, he had also contributions in art for 10 years. The duo have become a hit and have done many comedic dramas and events in all parts of the world. People to this day applaud their friendship and their bonding on stage is beyond appreciable. This duo has been named as 'The MaHa Jodi'. They have been producing drama series based on sociopolitical sector of Nepal under their own media banner. Besides acting, he has also contributed in the field of music.
Madan has been married to Yasoda Subedi Shrestha and has beautiful daughter and a son. His children to this day, resides in United States of America.
