A British actor and producer, James grew up in North Yorkshire before studying at the University of Nottingham.
After a successful career in executive search, founding the multi-award winning agency Annapurna in 2008, James subsequently used his prolific experience in producing business content to evolve into screen acting and film production.
James has credits in feature films ‘Winnie the Pooh : Blood and Honey 3’ as hunter 7 ‘Sanders’ and for playing a paparazzo in Noah Stratton-Twine and Jake Kuhn’s’ ’ ‘The Present Times’.
In Astijus Taujanskas’ 2026 short film ‘The Wizard’, James plays a supporting role as a West End Talent Agent.
James has also in 2026 recorded for Nell Williams’ directorial debut short film ‘Machines of Loving Grace’.
James co-produced Unit E, and is executive producer for a forthcoming film ‘The 12 Stages of Unemployment’ to be filmed in late 2026.
