Rick Dumont

Rick was born in Norwalk, Ct and grew up in Merrimack, NH. His first performance was in high school as a flying monkey in the Wizard of Oz. After spending his 20's seeking life experience and adventure as father, a 911 dispatcher and an award winning investigative journalist, Rick returned to the stage immigrant juror #11 in a local production of '12 Angry Men.' From there he played lead roles on stage of Hal in 'Picnic' and Edward in "Sense and Sensibility' to positive reviews. Since making the move to film, Rick has tackled many complex characters in numerous films and television shows. From troubled drug addict professors to dystopian gang leader, from former Marine to homeless firefighter with PTSD, Rick is a passionate performer who loves to delve deep into the soul of a character and bringing them to life in unique and powerfully compelling and engaging ways. Over the years, Rick has worked opposite or alongside the likes of Kal Penn, Sarah Sherman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Heather Graham, Rosario Dawson and more. . Rick is also a writer, director, producer and host of the dumonted pod, a podcast with a global audience. He has developed three feature screenplays, won several awards at film festivals, produced several TV pilots, documentaries and short films over the years.
