As a Los Angeles native, Patrick developed an interest in photography and motion picture at a young age. He went on to study film at the University of California at Santa Barbara and Brooks Institute of Photography. In 2008, he received the title senior colorist grading the CBS series Everybody Hates Chris. The following year Everybody Hates Chris, along with Weeds received an Emmy nomination for cinematography. Since then, Patrick has color graded a variety of television series, for networks such as HBO, Showtime, Hulu, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, TNT, and TBS, as well as a wide range of feature films, commercials and music videos. Patrick has also worked with companies like Apple, Adobe, Avid and Blackmagic Design to provide feedback on new software development. Patrick is a member of the Colorist Society International.
