  • Samaya Swaroop is a British-Indian plogger, who is the youngest plogger in the world. She was born on 12 February 2016 in London. Her father, Sudhanshu Swaroop, works as a barrister, while her mother, Raageshwari, is a talented singer and actress. Her cousin aunt, Rajeshwari Sachdev, is also an actress and singer. At the age of one, Samaya faced challenges with dyslexia and ADHD, which sometimes caused her to forget things.

    Samaya Swaroop began her plogging journey in 2023 when she was just seven years old. As a dedicated plogger, she has taken part in various cities across multiple countries, including London, Edinburgh, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Guwahati, Ankara, and more, where she has worked to clean up unnecessary things by picking up the litter. She is also the youngest plogger in the world.

    In addition to plogging, she speaks about plogging, litter, and space debris at the House of Lords, GEC Space City, and the British Interplanetary Society. She is also an ambassador of Asia's most sustainable school Akshar Foundation in Guwahati, Assam.

    Apart from plogging, Samaya's first on-screen appearance was in the Assamese and Hindi film Homework (2025) in which played cameo child artist. She also loves football, which is her favorite sport.
