Biography

Jennell Jaquays was born on October 14, 1956 in Michigan, USA. Jennell was a writer, known for Quake III: Arena (1999), Wolfenstein 3D (1992) and Doom (1993). Jennell was married to Rebecca Ann Heineman and Ruta Vaclavik. Jennell died on January 10, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

Began her career in the mid 70s while still attending Spring Arbor College, as a pioneering artist and designer in the area of pre-created game adventures for the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D.

Moved on to designing and directing the design of video games for Coleco in the early 80s;. She then went on to freelancing as an artist, writer, editor, and game designer. Until the early 90s when she joined TSR, Inc. which is the publisher of Dungeons and Dragons as a cover illustrator.
