Alec Tomkiw(I)

Alec is an actor, voiceover artist and teacher from Prince George, BC, Canada. He is an alumni of Simon Fraser University and AMDA in New York City. He has studied at Oxford University with Ariane Mnouchkine (Le Théâtre du Soleil), Lyndsey Turner (Barbican Theatre), Aitor Basauri (l'École Philippe Gaulier, Cirque du Soleil), John Achorn (Dell-Arte Company), Alexandra Billings (Steppenwolf West) and Dakin Matthews (The Antaeus Company). His pedagogy is rooted in physical theatre and ensemble theatre practice.
A company member and performer with The American Russian Theatre Ensemble Lab (ARTEL) in The Kharmful Charms of Daniil Kharms, as well as Rogue Machine Theatre, for which Alec was Assistant Director for the Los Angeles premiere of Christopher Shinn's Pulitzer Prize nominated drama Dying City. Other theatre: Ivanov (Odyssey Theatre Ensemble/Evidence Room), Blackbird (Rogue Machine Theatre), Hamlet, The Three Musketeers (Theatricum Botanicum).
