Biography

For the last 30 years, Kevin S. Parker has made his living providing sound for picture in a wide variety of applications. Since the 1990's, he has worked in documentary, live broadcast, reality television, and breaking news, for the last 15 years has focused on narrative film and television. His company, Parker Audio Inc., has provided wireless communication, audio, and radio-frequency management for some of the largest live international broadcasts, including the Republican National Convention, Presidential Candidate Debates, and has overseen fast-paced documentary series such as A& E's Emmy-nominated Beyond Scared Straight. Since making the transition to narrative, he has brought his knowledge, flexibility, and quick problem-solving to the fast-paced environment of feature films and episodic television. Having built a foundation in a world with no additional dialogue recording and no "safety net", he strives to manage on-set obstacles to provide the cleanest and most intelligible dialogue to the post team. His goal is to always create the cleanest and most direct path from the actor's performance to the audience's ears. Some of his career highlights include Manchester By The Sea, The Way Way Back, and more recently The Drama, Julia (HBOmax), The Perfect Couple (Netflix), and Widow's Bay (Apple TV)
