- Richard Jubb was born in Sheffield. He has worked extensively in theatre, and in his early career with the Crucible Youth Theatre. He went onto to study Stage Management at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
He went onto start the wrestling promotion City of Steel Wrestling that produced shows in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
He has now entered the world of film, making his first film Flood 1864: Sheffield's Biggest Disaster as part of a student project while studying Creative Media at Chesterfield College. This film was selected for the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival with a limited online screening in 2025. It was then selected in 2026 for the Oska Bright Film Festival where Richard won Best Documentary.
