Biography

Albert Mazibuko was born on June 1, 1948 in South Africa. He was an actor, known for Hello My Baby: Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Oliver Mtukudzi (2016), Music for Mandela (2013) and The Best of Ladysmith Black Mambazo (1997). He was married to Lillian Dlomo Mazibuko. He died on April 5, 2026 in South Africa.

South African musician and founding member of the award-winning choral group "Ladysmith Black Mambazo".

The second child of six children of three boys and three girls; the others being Nontukuzo Mazibuko, Nelisiwe Mazibuko, Kholiwe Mazibuko, and his two brothers Milton Mazibuko and Abednego Mazibuko.
