- His Brother Chris not only took him to films as a child but also acted with Denzel Washington in Richard III in Central Park in New York City.

- His favorite directors are Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, Brian DePalma, and Kevin Smith.
- Attended Ocean County College and Montclair State University and dropped out of both staying a year and a half at each one.
- In 2008 he hosted the Second Annual Ocean County Library Student Film Festival and his short film "Murder at the Jersey Shore" made official selection. In 2007 he judged the First Annual Ocean County Library Student Film Festival.
- Has taught Independent Film at Ocean County College from 2005 to the Present for their Community Education Program.
- Helped run a performing arts school in his hometown of Brick for a year where he taught acting and writing to young children as well as co-directed the play Bye Bye Birdy and organized a talent show for local and out of town talent. He quit and the arts school closed a few months later.

- Has acted with best friends Greg Wilson and Scott DiPalo in Indie Films since 1997. They met at Ocean County College and have been friends since 1990. Wilson and Dipalo even Produced and Starred in DeBari's directorial debut The College Murders shot on the Ocean County College campus.
