  • Wes Clark is one half of the Clark Brothers director team. The Clark Brothers have rapidly been making a name for themselves as one of the new genius sibling director teams in the independent film arena.

With over 20 years of professional experience in film, video, photography, and broadcasting, Wes combines his extensive background with over 5 years of experience in film and multimedia education as a Teacher's Assistant. He is skilled in curriculum development with a comprehensive background in television, radio broadcasting, screenwriting, video journalism, and photography. Proficient in social media management and Adobe Creative Cloud, Wes is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments to enhance student success.

Wes's journey began in 1997 when he trained and graduated from the Lewis A. Wilson School of Technology in Dix Hills, NY, specializing in television and video production. He later worked as a teacher's assistant in the same program, mentoring and guiding young talents.

In 2004, Wes wrote and produced his first short film, "Rebel," which won the grand jury award at the New York Film and Video Festival. This success led him to his first feature film project, "The Trade-Off," in 2006, where he served as co-writer, casting director, and director. The film, adapted from the novel "Open House," received the audience choice award at the Long Island International Film Expo and launched the careers of actors like Robert Christopher Riley and Rayan Lawrence.

From 2007 to 2011, Wes co-created and operated Blok-TV, an online media entertainment news show, interviewing numerous celebrities and covering prestigious events such as the MTV Video Awards, The Academy Awards, The Sports Emmy Awards, and Super Bowls XLI and XLIV.

Wes directed a short film based on his own comic book series, "7 To Seven," which screened at multiple festivals and is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. In 2018, he collaborated with acclaimed author Kiki Swinson to adapt her novel, "Playing Dirty," into a web series pilot that won awards for Best Web Series in 2018 and 2019.

His projects "Groupie: The Blueprint of a Self Made Millionaire," "The Candy Shop," "Playing Dirty," and "7 To Seven" are all streaming on platforms including Tubi, Amazon Prime, and others.

A graduate of Full Sail University with a bachelor's degree in Media Communications and a Master's degree in creative writing, Wes specializes in storytelling, including screenwriting, story crafting, producing, directing, and editing all visual media styles.
