Jaylon Monroe

Jaylon Monroe is an American filmmaker, director, and cinematographer based in Dallas, Texas. He attended Tulane University, where he studied Kinesiology and competed as a collegiate athlete before continuing his football career professionally. Monroe later transitioned into filmmaking, founding Sh9ts Media, a production company focused on commercial and narrative storytelling. His debut short film, The Other Side of the Street (2026), premiered to a sold-out theater audience, marking the start of his journey as a filmmaker dedicated to telling impactful stories rooted in real-life experiences.
