Known for her subtle and emotionally evocative performances, classically trained actor Mary Sarah (Riverside Shakespeare Academy) has an affinity for complex characters across contemporary drama, period work and the fantastical. Her screen work includes the gut-wrenching role of Carol Emerson in Death Valley: A Love Story, Mom’s Message, and Invisible Lines, which Sarah also wrote, directed and produced. She has appeared in the award-winning ensembles of Call It in the Air (Best Film/Comedy, Valley Film Festival) and The Honour (Best Film/Drama, Cinefest), while her narration of the multi-award-winning animated short The Burden (2025) brought her distinctive voice to the international stage. A two-time SOVAS Voice Arts® Award nominee (2016, 2026), Sarah continues to wield her tongue to witches and queens alike. With a penchant for dialects, fantasy, and time-travel, Sarah has found a life lived in empathy an amazing way to see with new eyes.
