Biography

Sagar is one of the most sought-after action-thriller writers currently working in the industry. He has worked on the official Hindi adaptation of Rambo, to be directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Siddharth Anand. Sagar began his writing career as a script researcher for Rajkumar Santoshi's The Legend of Bhagat Singh, a film written by Anjum Rajabali and starring Ajay Devgn. Post that Sagar worked as an in-house script reader and writer with iDream Productions for two years. He co-wrote the supernatural thriller Naina and then worked with Prakash Jha as a co-writer on the 2012 feature Chakravyuh. Sagar's screenplay Sniper was one of the top five entries at Cinestaan India's Storytellers Script Contest in 2018. The script is currently locked with a leading producer. Sagar has also worked on Eros's Flesh and Alt Balaji's Test Case. Most recently, Sagar wrote the Juggernaut Productions show Shoorveer for Disney+ Hotstar. He is currently developing a show for Endemol Shine and a feature for another leading producer.
