Claudia Calderón(III)

Claudia Calderón is a Puerto Rican filmmaker with background in music, production, and acting. She studied film at the University of Puerto Rico, NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and graduated from Film Direction in Cuba's International Film and TV School (EICTV). She's had professional experience as Assistant Director, Art Department Coordinator, and Camera Operator. She's directed music videos, short films, visuals for concerts, short documentaries, dance films, video installations, and advertising for local and international brands. Her short films and music videos have been celebrated and awarded at international festivals such as Tribeca Film Festival, San Sebastián Intl Film Festival, Short to the Point, Berlin Music Video Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro, and the Puerto Rican Film Festival. Some of her works include 'Back to School', ad for Bad Bunny's take on the Adidas forum tennis shoe as well as 'Nasciturus', a pandemic comedy special with Puerto Rican comedian Mikephillippe Oliveros which was licensed by HBO for streaming on HBOmax in the US territories. She's based in Puerto Rico and developing of her first feature film.
