Brian Peveler is an American director, producer, writer, and actor from Las Vegas, Nevada. Developing an interest in filmmaking at an early age, he began making short films in 2013 at the age of eight and has continued pursuing filmmaking ever since. His work has centered primarily on independent productions, with an emphasis on narrative filmmaking and collaborative productions.
Peveler first gained recognition while still in high school when his short film Still Wanted received two awards; one being the Trailblazer Award at the Wild West Film Festival for its originality. He later placed second in Nevada's statewide SkillsUSA 36-Hour Film Competition and earned first place in Azusa Pacific University's 48-Hour Film Festival. He went on to formally study Cinematic Arts at Azusa Pacific University, where he directed, produced, and collaborated on numerous student and independent productions.
Expanding beyond short films, Peveler served as lead actor and producer on the independent feature film Chasing Dust, working alongside a large team of filmmakers from Azusa Pacific University. In addition to directing, he has continued to work as a producer, writer, and actor across a variety of independent projects.
