Biography

With roots in Chicago and Cincinnati, Danny Bohmer has spent his entire life obsessed with one thing: making films. He spent most of his time in high school as the head videographer and attempted to make films whenever he could, but being in the midwest, it was difficult to find other who cared even half as much as he did. After graduating, he moved to LA to attend Loyola Marymount School of Film and Television as a Screenwriting major. After soaking in much experience on sets, he transferred to University of Colorado Boulder halfway through his sophomore year to have a more complete college experience, and switched to a Production major. Since then, he has been making as many films as possible working alongside the other highly committed members of the film school. He is highly experienced in Sound Mixing/Boom Operation, mostly using their Zoom F4 mixer, and also has an extensive background in Cinematography, mostly using his RED Komodo 6K, along with proficiency with the LUMIX G series, Canon C200, the Blackmagic Pocket, and the Canon XF100. Along with a major background in screenwriting, he is also incredibly well versed in the art of pre-production from an AD, director, cinematographer, and script supervisor's perspective.
