Biography

Richard Porter, while normally in the Grip and Electric departments for work, also does "passion projects" under his own Production Company 'On The Line Films' and with the production group 'Barrel Suit Productions'. The Barrel Suit Productions group is mostly noted for it's short film BFZ (2009), where Richard Co-wrote (mainly in the creation of the Octane character), Co-Produced, Acted, and was also Key Grip. Barrel Suit Productions is also known for their reasonably popular internet radio show that broadcasts on USTREAM as well as production of some music videos and other short films.

In various independent and/or student films often doubles for inserts as a "Hand Double". Claims that "...if Mel Gibson can hand double in The Passion of the Christ (2004), why can't I double in my movies... it's a way of leaving my fingerprint."
