Biography

An early adopter of Tiffen's Steadicam Fawcett Exovest, his testing and analysis of the vest's architecture and ergonomics contributed to improvements and refinements to subsequent versions of the vest.

Custom modified an existing on-set camera bag by 'Fikenca' (formerly 'Modular 51'). The new design proved popular with camera assistants across Canada as well as in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. It took on the moniker 'The Alan Kelly Bag' since that is what customers asked for when ordering it.

A-Cam 2nd AC on 'Spotlight' (2015) which won Best Picture and Best Screenplay at the 2016 Academy Awards.
