Biography

Married Brian Malloy at Gran Melia Resort in Puerto Rico. In attendance were her Guiding Light (1952) co-stars Ricky Paull Goldin, Beth Ehlers, Murray Bartlett and Caitlin Van Zandt.

Her first child, Ivy Lola Malloy was born on Wednesday, 6/10/09 at 9:10 AM and weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz.

Raised by a single mother.

Received her B.A. from Bloomsburg University as a Theater Major.

Graduated from East Stroudsburg High School-South (East Stroudsburg, PA), Class of 1994, as Jessica Rodriguez. She was one of five candidates for 1993 Homecoming Queen. Her extracurricular activities included the Welcoming Club 12, Float Committee 10-12, Drama Club 9, and Soccer Manager, 12.

When my brother was born [in 1988], I was already 12. I had a baby on my hip for most of the time. When I got home from school, there was a baby on my hip. When I was doing homework, there was a baby on my hip. I bathed him, and I took him to the pool. He was like my little baby.

I declared myself a theater major going into college because I knew it was going to be the only way I would force myself to audition for productions!

When I was a kid, I thought New York [City] was a big, scary place. I wanted to move to the suburbs and have a house with a pool!

My background is Puerto Rican, but everyone is as American as apple pie in my family.
