  • Height
    6′ 2″ (1.88 m)

Mini bio

  • Adam Gaynor was born in Manhattan, NY. He grew up loving both Sports and Music and eventually dedicated his life intent to make it to the "Big Leagues" of the music industry. After attending the prestigious University of North Texas for a year, Adam went back home to take a job answering phones at the legendary Criteria Recording Studios in South Florida.

After "answering phones" for almost 8 years....Gaynor was discovered by people associated with the band "Collective Soul" and was offered two opportunities. 1. Was to be a singer/songwriter and record his own music. 2. Was to meet with a man named Rob Thomas, who was undiscovered at the time, and a few guys putting together a band in Orlando, FL. Gaynor met with Rob and decided this was the path to take. Soon after his audition, he was offered a place in the group that would eventually re-name themselves, and Matchbox20 was created.

Ten years later, after 4-Grammy nominations, a people's choice award, touring arena's around the world and selling more than 30,000,000 records, Adam departed from the band in 2004, moved to Studio City, CA and launched his Entertainment Company: Creationville, which creates animation, children's books and plush toys.

Recently, in 2022, Gaynor moved outside of Nashville to begin his next venture, writing and recording music for Television and Film. From Ukulele to Power Pop Melody driven songs, Gaynor writes and produces ear catching melody's, acoustic guitar written pieces and eerie atmospheric arrangements. Today, Adam is continuing the success he had as an original/former member of the band Matchbox20 and is providing the industry with moving and creative sounds, "soundtracks for our everyday lives", for major and independent studios as well as television networks.
