Biography

Raúl Cerezo is a director, screenwriter, producer and founding partner of EYE SLICE PICTURES. His feature film debut comes in 2021 with THE PASSENGER, a work that had its premiere at the Sitges Film Festival after its participation in the "Fantastic 7" at the Cannes Film Festival, which he co-directed with Fernando González Gómez. He is also the creator of the original idea and co-producer of the film. The film has been a success in international sales and Amazon Prime Video Spain viewership, among other achievements.

In 2022 Cerezo releases his second film, THE ELDERLY, co-directed with Fernando González Gómez. He is also the creator of the original idea and co-screenwriter. The film had its international premiere at the Fantasia Festival in Montreal and participated in the official sections of the biggest genre festivals in the world (Sitges Festival, Fantastic Fest in Austin, among others). It has been sold to 35 countries.

Raúl Cerezo has produced more than 100 genre short films and directed Spanish emblematic titles such as ESCARNIO, CARAOSCURA, EL SEMBLANTE and 8, winner of the Melies d'argent and the Paul Naschy Award at the Sitges Festival, among many other international awards. He has also written LA NUEVA, a revered spanish title in genre short films.
