Biography

Sture Eskilsson was a Swedish economist, media creator, and political strategist. He was CMO at the Swedish Employers' Association (SAF) from 1970 to 1990 and Chairman of the Board of the business think tank Timbro from 1978 to 1998. He was considered one of Sweden's foremost political strategists and is considered to have contributed to the rightward shift in Swedish social debate that has taken place since the socialist regime in 1968. Eskilsson contributed to creating a broad counterweight within the media to the Social Democrats.
