Muhammad Abdur-Rahman Toheed is a talented British Pakistani actor known for performing live at various venues across London including the Shakespeare Globe, Battersea Arts Centre, London Stadium, Trafalgar Square and Excel London.
Since 2019 Muhammad has been a member of WAW Creative Arts a multi award-winning Muslim-led Arts organisation. In November of 2022 he played the lead role of Adam, a live theatre performance called 'A Curious Journey Through The Golden Age' that was written and directed by Nusaiba Mohammad-Timol the Founder and CEO of WAW Creative Arts to standing ovation at the Brady Arts and Community Centre in collaboration with London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Arts Council England.
In 2023 WAW Creative Arts made history as the first ever organisation to stage a non-Shakespearean play at Shakespeare’s Globe for an Open Iftar event during the month of Ramadan. Muhammad once again took the stage as the lead role of Adam performing a snippet of the original play ‘A Curious Journey Through The Golden Age’ to rave reviews.
Throughout the years with WAW Creative Arts Muhammad has written and performed his own monologues and worked with numerous multi award-winning organisations and charities such as Ramadan Tent Project, Open Iftar, International Broadcasting Trust and Islamic Relief.
Although he has been performing live since 2021 Muhammad made his major television debut in 2026 starring as Young Shah Latif in the critically acclaimed Prime Original series Bait (2026). Appearing in pivotal flashback sequences, he portrayed the 12-year-old counterpart to series creator and star Riz Ahmed, whose lead performance earned an Emmy Award nomination.
Passionate about Mathematics, Astronomy and Drama he was awarded an Academic Scholarship to a Prestigious Independent School.
During his spare time, he enjoys Gaming, Muay Thai and Cricket.
