Biography

April hails from an 1800's farmhouse in northeast Ohio where, as a child, she enjoyed watching scary movies, writing songs and swinging on a rope with her legs over her head. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin. April has worked at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and the National Wildlife Federation.

April stars in the dark comedy, Bless Her Heart, playing a conniving mother holding onto her glory days as a cheerleader and prom queen. She has a supporting role in the period mystery, Sherlock Holmes Vampire Slayer (2026), as the sophisticated Lady Ashworth. April has a strong supporting role in the futuristic apocalyptic thriller, How to Get Back to the Forest, as a woman fighting back against an authoritarian government.

She has a leading role in the upcoming comedy, The Ryan Theory, playing a wife who has grown bored of her man-child husband. In the science fiction thriller, Parasocialite, April has a leading role as a movie star longing for her former love.

In the upcoming television series, Our Family Pride (2026), April recurs as a powerful lawyer.

April enjoys pole dancing, playing banjo and being in the mountains.
