Edgar Adrián

Edgar Adrián was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is a graduate of the Audiovisual Arts program at the University of Guadalajara. His work approaches cinema from a queer perspective within the context of independent filmmaking, with a particular interest in intimate and everyday processes. In 2019, he collaborated on a project by director Jaime Humberto Hermosillo, an experience that proved formative in the development of his cinematic practice. During his studies, he focused on short film postproduction, as well as screenwriting and directing. "When I Get Home" is his first short film as a director and his graduation project.
