- Frederick LeRoyal McDuffy is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, and retired U.S. Army Senior Noncommissioned Officer whose storytelling blends authenticity, humor, and heart. He is known for Witness Security, Chaos Switch, Echoes of a Forgotten Past, Veteran’s Christmas and the Hitchhiker of Highway 87. native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Frederick’s journey from military service to the world of film is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and purpose. During his distinguished Army career, he served as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Army Entertainment from 2013 to 2016, where he helped produce large-scale programs such as Operation Rising Star, The U.S. Army Soldier Show, and the Concert Series. His creative instincts also led him in front of the camera as the co-host of Armed Forces Trivia Quest, merging leadership with performance. Following his retirement in 2022, Frederick pursued his lifelong passion for storytelling, earning his Bachelor of Science in Digital Filmmaking from The Los Angeles Film School. Immersed in every aspect of the craft, he has since produced a short film, two short documentaries, and a comedy skit series. His work reflects a deep commitment to truth, laughter, and human connection-values shaped by his years of service and his dedication to family. Now based in Katy, Texas, Frederick continues to create films that explore identity, perseverance, and the beauty of second chances. When he’s not on set, he’s mentoring youth, networking with fellow creatives, or enjoying life with his wife, four daughters, and two granddaughters.
