Ola Paulakoski was born on January 12, 1982 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a director and writer, known for Hermit: Monster Killer (2016), Dinorilla and Hat (2022).

He usually always edits all his own films

His little brother is Simo Paulakoski.

He admires the work of the directors Mats Helge Olsson and George A. Romero.

His film The Werewolf Cult Chronicles: Vietnam 1969 was being shown at Cannes film festival. He could not afford the travel to Cannes film festival to see one of his films. Ola Paulakoski then hitchhiked to Cannes from Sweden. He lived as a homeless in the town of Cannes for 2 weeks, and during the day went about as a producer.
