Yasha Alaniz

Yasha Alaniz (she/her) is an Mexican American actress, singer, and writer from The Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. She considers herself a multi-hyphenate creative whose craft spans theatre, film, and television. Yasha is a recent graduate of Texas State University, where she earned her BFA in Theatrical Performance and Production, and trained in Shakespearean performance and analysis at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Yasha has been seen most recently as Estela in Real Women Have Curves at Casa0101, Ericka in the indie horror film, Crystal Prison, performing as her drag alter ego, Dykeodomy, or singing lead vocals for her queer rock band, Pink Threat. When she’s not performing, you can find her writing for Gay Panic!, her sitcom about the queer dating scene in Los Angeles that's currently in pre-production.
