Ruby Haraldson
- Writer
- Director
- Actor
Ruby is a remarkably self-possessed and multi-talented young actor whose commitment to the craft extends well beyond the set.
At 15, she has already demonstrated the full range of a working filmmaker - writing, self-funding, directing and starring in her
own independent short film How We Ended Up Here, leading a cast of 13 including adult actors. She brings that same depth and
quiet intensity to her supporting role as Keilani in the independent feature film Big Sister (Cinemonte Productions, 2026),
directed by Andrea Bel Monte. Ruby is currently completing a TAFE Certificate III in Film and Television, reflecting her serious
and industry-minded approach to her career. An avid reader and passionate creator, she is constantly writing new scripts and
developing ideas. Ruby keeps herself physically sharp through regular gym training and balances her artistic life with two years
of committed casual work at Nautical Bowls - demonstrating the reliability and work ethic that define everything she does.
