- Meggha Burmann is an Indian actress who was raised in Calcutta and educated at Loreto House and Bishop Cotton's, Bangalore. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media from Mumbai University.
A versatile performer, Meggha was a champion equestrian growing up, and also played squash and drums. She began her acting journey after being spotted for a popular television commercial, which soon led to many others and her debut as a lead in a Telugu film.
Since then, she has worked across English, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, as well as television and streaming platforms. Her credits include the independent film Ballad of Rustom, 24: Season 2 for Colors TV directed by Abhinay Deo, Panga by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Anurag Kashyap's Kennedy, which premiered at the Festival de Cannes in 2023 at the Grand Théâtre Lumière.
Her most recent release is the Netflix series Black Warrant, created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.
Meggha holds an advanced diploma in Urdu and is a certified yoga and aerial arts teacher. She resides in Mumbai.
