Biography

Roman Kruczkowski was born on February 28, 1936 in Wloclawek, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland. He was an actor, known for Awans (1975), The Lullaby (1986) and Chopin: Desire for Love (2002). He died on October 2, 2019 in Lublin, Lubelskie, Poland.

Actor, theater director. He performed in the following theaters: Lubuskie in Zielona Góra (1959-61), Dolnoslaskie in Jelenia Góra (1961-64), Opole Land in Opole (1964-65), Adam Mickiewicz's Theater in Czestochowa (1965-66), Juliusz Osterwa's Theater in Lublin (1966-86), Rozmaitosci in Warsaw (1986-91).

In 2006 he was awarded the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis.

In 1959 he graduated from the Dramatic School at the Polish Theater in Wroclaw.
