- Parnell Damone Marcano is a versatile, SAG-AFTRA, AEA affiliated actor and vocalist with a powerful presence spanning television, film, and theater. He is probably best known for his recurring role as Carlton Cruise in the acclaimed OWN drama series, "Greenleaf", sharing memorable screen time alongside Keith David, Lynn Whitfield and Merle Dandridge.
With a strong foundation in musical theater (BFA), Parnell's career features prominent television roles, feature film credits, numerous theater credits, and background vocal work for legendary artists, including Mary Wilson of The Supremes and Thelma Houston.
A longtime advocate for Black and LGBTQ civil rights, he has been married to Michael Rabb since 2014, and served on the board of directors for Celebration Theater, one of the country's oldest LGBTQ theater companies.
